Very nice quality, giving a clear image at 5X magnification– this leather bound brass telescope in its felt-lined storage box would look right at home on board ship, on your office desk, or in your den at home. Fully extended, including its shade hood, it measures 7 1/2″ (19 cm) — when collapsed, it measures only 3 3/4″ (9.5 cm), so it fits neatly into its brass-finished box (4 3/4″ (12 cm) x 2 3/4″ (7 cm) x 2 1/4″ (5.75 cm) when closed) with inlaid brass diamond on the top.
