Our Superb Stockings are made for us by one of the finest historical hosiers in the world. After extensive research and the creation of a number of prototypes, we’re so delighted to bring you these WW1 soldier’s stocks. They will stretch to accommodate a man’s size 14 or so foot. If, however, you find that they are too large or too big in the foot, a quick trip through a hot dryer after washing will shrink them down a bit for you. For best results and longest life on your socks, we recommend that all of our stockings be hung to dry rather than put through the dryer. These heavyweight stockings are perfect for everyday wear with period or modern shoes or boots, and out customers tell us they are extremely comfortable. Please note that they are quite thick, so not a good choice with tightly fitting footwear. mid-calf length, with just a touch of spandex in the rib to help them stay up. Available in period olive drab only.
Due to variations in dye lots and screen resolutions, colour may not be exactly as you see on your screen. Approximately 43.5cm (17″) in length (toe to top).
