This lovely wooden lift-top writing desk or “slope” is the classic form of tabletop writing slope. As the name suggests, the top opens to reveal one compartment large enough to store full sheets of paper as well as pens and quills. Approximately 40cm x 32cm x 9cm (15.5″ x 12.5″ x 3.5″).
