These uniquely styled all metal pistols were fashionable amongst highlanders for most of the 18th century. They were used during the Jacobite Wars, Seven Years War and American War of Independence. They had a ball shaped trigger without a trigger guard and came complete with a belt hook to fasten them to the sword baldrick.
